Last September 29, 2017, the Operations Research Society of the Philippines - University of Santo Tomas Chapter (ORSP-UST) had a calculator workshop entitled: TRANSCENDENCE I which was held at the Alfredo M. Velayo – College of Accounting Hall.
Students coming from each engineering major was present during the workshop.
The speaker was Mr. Leandro Soneja, an alumnus from the Industrial Engineering (IE) Department in UST.
For the entirety of the event, Mr. Leandro was able to give us an insight on some tips and tricks on using both the old Casio fx-570 ES, which is what most students have, and the new Casio fx-991EX.
