About ORSP-UST Chapter
The Operations Research Society of the Philippines - University of Santo Tomas Chapter (ORSP UST), imploring the aid of Almighty God, aims to establish an organization that will provide an avenue to appreciate Operations Research as a vital medium in improving our society towards innovation and sustainable development, that embodies our ideals and aspirations, and initiates our proactive involvement inside and outside the university, and which will equip us knowledge and skills to prepare ourselves as future Thomasian Engineers.
Our Mission
The Operations Research Society of the Philippines – UST Chapter, a college- based academic organization under the Faculty of Engineering, commits itself to the enrichment of knowledge, academic formation, and scholastic experience of potential operations research practitioners and to the establishment and development of the link between the academic and industry sectors while affirming its role in the cultivation of the value of leadership among student members and the rest of the community.
Our Vision
The Operations Research Society of the Philippines – UST Chapter envisions itself as a proficient channel between the students and the essential areas of operations research. It also envisions itself to stimulate in its student members to become sensitive towards social, economic, and environmental issues, fostering them to be the responsible future leaders needed by the country today.
