START: Students' Advance Review Sessions and Tutorials

The Operations Research Society of the Philippines UST Chapter started their academic year with their first event “START: Students’ Advance Review Sessions and Tutorials” last July 30, 2018 (day 1) at the Fr. Roque Ruaño, O.P. Building Engineering Rooms. The first day of the event was open to all incoming engineering, which catered 85 engineering freshmen in the morning session and 57 engineering freshmen in the afternoon session.

The event was facilitated by ORSP UST’s Shaila Zacarias, John Danyael Taguinod, Ceffanie Soriano and Nisa Tamayo.

The engineering freshmen were given an overview of Calculus I, as well as facilitators shared their techniques with the subject.

The facilitators gave exercises and reviewers to the students to refresh and prepare themselves to the incoming academic year 2018-2019. The event ended with a closing remark led by the ORSP UST President Carmina Mae Suriaga.
