Have you really maximized the use of your calculators?
As another academic year is bound to pass by, students must know how to properly utilize one of their must-have school essentials which is the calculator. With this, ORSP UST held its event entitled: HEURISTICS: Calculator Workshop last October 23, 2018 at the TARC Auditorium from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

In his discussion, he tackled some of the modes available in the calculators CASIO FX991ES PLUS and CASIO FX991EX. Different shortcuts were shown and explained to the students on how they can efficiently solve problems even those that are a bit complex.
Concluding the event was Kate Bandulin, one of the project heads and ORSP UST's Director for Public Affairs. Indeed, a calculator is one of engineers' most valued possession especially for students, that's why it is really important to know the potential of your own calculator.
